Same here, but I'm not struggling! I've seen some footie on Sky Sports and switched to Sky Sports HD and the difference is amazing. The clarity of things like the white lines and detail on the adverts and the crowd. Makes a big difference, imo.

The do have a bloody big TV as well, so I'm sure that adds to it.

D.

Got a new hd Panasonic the other week so got sky hd to go with it, and kept sky+ in the second room.

It's brill. Football and sports in HD is immense, films are cracking, not to many hd channels but its worth it imo.

I do have a huge and expensive tv though so weather this makes it better i dunno.

clarity is so much better but we dont really use it, so i dont think its worth it.

great for docs and sport.

Futurama is on the hd channel but isnt actually in hd therefore you wouldnt of noticed a difference. They do that a lot on sky, some stuff is upscaled aswell.

tbh there is a massive difference in picture quality with normal sky and hd I think if u cant see the difference then its probably not worth upgrading as it would be wasted on you.

the hd box is so cheap now its a steal

Are the majority of the programs in HD not just up scaled anyway? Or am I talking total crap?/

And another thing, although theres more added as time goes on, some of the HD channels dont exclusively showHD programmes; they fill in with normal ones aswell so look in the top right hand side of the 'info' box and it should say HD

Fools, Freesat HD + ftw.

£275 one off payment for the Humax with 320Gb HD box.

ONly get 2 HD channels though, but HD is pretty good tbh.

HD does look very good, but if i was paying for it'd rather pocket the £10 a month, as none the channels i watch are in HD.

Dad has it downstairs. I was dissapointed so cancelled the order for mine.

really thats suprising i found it amazing when it was first set up. I guess it depends on your individual set up.

sad i know but dont think i could go without hd anymore!

My box has had a few iffy moments with turning off randomly etc but service has generaly been good.

Don't get too dragged into the HD film channels, modern films intended for HD look good but older ones such as the James Bond ones, still look crap.

BBC HD is a bit of a waste of time IMO they don't ever show anything decent.

National Geo and Discovery's programs look awsome though.

Probably because it wasn't a HD episode. The Simpsons episodes are all in box format like 4:3 unless their like a day old and made in HD, then they look brilliant.

Am I doing something wrong, Only channels worth watching on HD are CH4 sky1 and eurosport, thats pretty much the only choice.

i like the sports and nature channels they show some good stuff.

There is plenty off other channels, hardly watch them though, but i want channels 1-5 and Dave in HD please.

Not worth the extra IMO.

The only channels in intrested in are sky sports HD, BBC HD, and the films, so by the sounds of it, its worth it.

If people can't tell the difference between HD and normal (unless they have s**t TVs) they need new eyes.

had it nearly 3 years this june, was glad to see the football world cup.i do have some problems sound is not in cinque with there mouth movements sometimes.and they had to replace the box as digital optical output was not working.they aint much difference between this and blu ray unless your tv is full hd pioneer, or tv with led lcd tvs that have only really come out.its well worth it, colours are so much vibrant

There's an option in the settings on Sky+/HD boxes to manually adjust the audio delay to compensate for this.
