Sky multi room confusion

Right just got off the phone with a sky monkey and they were no help what so ever.

What i want to do is;

Currently Sky subscription working at the house.

Garage converted to a games room so i want sky in there too.

Garage separate to the house by 8 meters.


Can i have multiroom subscription added to get sky in the garage?

Run the cable yourself, buy a box off ebay / old one of yours, get sky to send a viewing card out, tell them it's for the bedroom

The sky monkey was telling me it would have to have its own subscription as it was a separate residence.

He couldn't understand that I didn't live in there...

If you want to watch different channels to the main house, you need multiroom. If not, just run a cable.

Yes if you have sky Multiroom installed they will do it in there. If you just want the same link then do a DIY job. All Sky will do when they install Multiroom is run a new cable from your existing dish to where you want it installed, and chuck in a box and viewing card.

Just tell the monkey it's a conservatory.

The installer will put it in the garage, no problem - I have many a time. Caravans too.
