sky to a sky + box

ive got a standard skybox in my room but a mate gave me his sky plus box can i just disconnect the old one and put the new one in or does it need a different connection?

To fully utilize Sky+ you need two feeds from the LNB (you may need to update the LNB).

You can still use a single feed but you'll only be able to record/watch one channel at a time.

Yep. Had ours fitted yesterday - two seperate wire feeds in now.
