Slammed Clio! Lowest on Site!

I had 15 mins spare so decided to finish the job I started yesterday. So I Jacked up the whole of one side so I could do both drum and caliper at the same time.

The result:






















There are now wholes in the drive around an inch deep.

What do we reckon to damage? Need to wait for paint to try before I can drive it.

Where have the inch wholes come from? Shouldn't really be any damage, disk might be dented but hardly expensive...

The disc looks to be ok.

For some reason the jacks feet suddenly bent and the car went backwards and feel.

The wholes in the tarmac came from the disc and the rear arm that holds the hub.

I was going to get some logs to put under the sill in case of such an eventuality. Luckily I forgot :d

Wouldnt mess around with the car without at least a decent trolly jack and some tryes... never mind axel stands.

The jack collapsed and despite all my might I was unable to hold the car forward lol!

I have just taken it for a drive and all is wheel.

My Gtech fell of the windscreen but apart from that its fine!

That jack looked like it originated from when cars were steam driven....i'd invest in a decent trolley jack if you HAVE to leave it sat on any jack.

Glad there is no serious damage though....to YOU or the car!
