Slash cut exhaust tip, which and where to buy?

Hi, just got from ebay a 3.5" slash cut exhaust tip, but is not what i wanted.

First i´m not quite sure about the size, altough it fills the exhaust trim. And after fitted, noticed it is not "that slash".

This is the tip:

Since i'm not happy with it,

- I'm looking for opinions if i'll keep 3,5" or go 3" on size, and where to buy an exhaust tip to look just like this:

Sorry to hijack the thread, but on the same subject... Is it possible to buy back boxes with this style tip? Fed up with my twin 3".

Search for Foxy's old 1.2, the exhaust on that was perfect IMO.

Seen it! Was one of my references to aplly the tip.

But he has a prospeed muffler also, not only the tip :S

And altough he said had a 3", it really looked 3,5", since i've been with one in my hand, and 3" doesnt fills totaly the exhaust trim like him does.

you wont be able to get just an exhaust tip to look like that as 1. the standard exhaust tips downwards,, and two its too low


would need major modifications to get it to do that,, which would be harder than just fitting a custom back box

A good exhaust office can make it. Makes however and wherever you want.

I guarantee you, mine´s fitted just like that. Just took a lind of an "S" right at the backbox exit

i didn't say it was impossible! but what im saying is whats the point?

if you are going to all that trouble (or should i say if THEY are going to all that trouble)

why not just get them to custom make you a slash cut tip and have them weld it on your old box... exactly how you want it then

Is no trouble at all.

The tip is already fitted in place how i want... happens before fitted it looked completely different
