Slightly strange but important request (Oxford guys)

  Megane 230 R26
Hi guys,

Some silly cow reversed into the driver-side rear of my Trophy yesterday, damaging the rear bumper and scratching the rear lights. The chap at the body shop said it's a new bumper job, 400-500 quid plus VAT, all fair enough as it's off her insurance anyway.

However, I'm convinced the position of the rear light has been displaced and the gap between the RHS of the tailgate and the RHS lights is larger than the gap between the LHS of the tailgate and the LHS lights. The response of the body shop bloke (Renault approved) was "that's Renault"... I said to him I'm aware of Renault being a bit like that, but I'm also aware of every bit of Renault mis-alignment on my car, and that's not one of them, the impact has bent the light mounts or whatever... but he's having none of it. I can see that I'm going to have to prove this isn't the norm, because I want to make damn sure my car is restored to its former glory, but unfortunately none of my pics show that gap clearly enough :dapprove:

So therefore, do any of the guys that came to the Oxford meet have any pictures of the rear of my car apart from the ones they already posted to the forum? Also if anyone else has a good quality pic of the rear-end of a 172/182 that'd be good as well, to prove it's not normal and ensure I get it corrected!

Many thanks in advance guys, I want to make sure the Trophy isn't scarred :(

Edit: Pics of the damage to my car also to follow at some point!

Cheers for the pics guys, and sorry for the slow reply! The car is currently at Carbody in Banbury having a new bumper fitted, and I'm driving around in a 307 HDi at the moment, comfortable but slow!

Thanks for the help on this, the pictures are very useful, I've always spent too much time driving it to bother with taking all that many pics myself  I'm going to e-mail them some pics over if necessary, as their initial attitude was "That's Renault" when I pointed it out at the time :dapprove:

Fingers crossed :approve:
