slow internet

For some reason the internet on my laptop is running bloody slow

Any suggestions

Yeah im on wireless, my neighbours are old so im guessing they dont have the net

You could try the call centre favourite of 'Clear out all your history and cookies etc'. First thing i would try tho is to connect via ethernet cable to the router instead of wireless and see if its any quicker, if not then your connection speed is prob just rubbish.

My mates grandfather has the net and hes 85,also a bit clued up on pc's.

if all the above fails try doing a system restore and backdate ur pc a day or so and see if that makes a difference

System restore although unless you have a seriously freaky PC that'll do nothing to help your problem.
