Slow N Low Clio.

Thought I'd finally start doing some small things to the Clio.

To Do list:
Colour Code Strips
Colour Code Bumper
Clear Repeaters
Coilovers
Turbines or some F1's and get them done in white or black
PH2 back lights
Cup Spoiler (maybe)PH
2 Rear bumper (maybe)

I'm open to all sujestions anyone else has

atm only one part is colour coded that was only a test going to do it properly sometime this week.

List sounds good. Please prioritise the coilovers, wheels and spoiler (dynamique or cup). Without these the other mods are a waste of time.

but surely if you got yourself ( lets just say a 2.0 ltr 182 ) and slammed it right down , cracked on some steezy deepies and allllll the rest, you would be wasting the potential of the car as its so low you have to drive like a OAP , personally id say 1.2-1.6 ideal for a crawler, when ( and IF) you require speed/power then upgrade to a bigger car, then at least you can say you euro'd a car and fooking loved it!

You're not wrong at all. Why take a hot hatch, developed by a company over millions of miles and with plerty spent on development, then decide you know better and proceed to ruin it.

But then, by the same token, why take a shopping trolley, designed to get the shopping back without breaking the eggs, and proceed to give it the ride of a WW2 tank?

because tanks are awsome haha, nahh i see exactly where youre coming from buddy and it makes perfect sence , suppose at the end of it all its all about what youre willing to spend and also like you said depends on how much of the comfort youre willing to sacrifice to look like a 'badman'.

thats why im aiming to euro my 1.2 just because insurance is £1650 fully comp on my 1.2 and getting my ideal renaultsport 200 would cost my yearly paypacket haha

Exactly thanks someone see's where i'm comming from i hope i keep it for maybe a year or two just to build up some no claims then get a 1*2 when i can afford it.

Thats were most of us start mate, I am now 30 and when i wasyour age has a 1.3 Fiesta, started from there as insurance is crazy, not every one has there parents to pay fr there car insurance!!! obviously small minded people must have

Pretty much in the same boat as you matey, got a 1.2 dynamique first car and already want a RS or something german BUT I think it has to be done I think everyone has done it at some point! Although after doing it I did think all the money I had spent on the car if I had put it aside it could go towards a better one

some people refuse to see that it is a hobby to modify your car, and only see it as an investment!!

why does it matter if it is a sport or not, you spend money on the car so that you enjoy driving it more! it doesnt matter if that enjoyment comes from going fast through the twisties, or seeing the looks on peoples faces as you grind over speed bumps!!

get your hands on a set of rokkor coilovers mate, and buy a set of later hubs to bolt them too, then lower it all the way to the floor!!
theyre very drivable when you drop them very far, the only major issue is the ARB hitting the chassis rails, and the driveshafts hitting the inner wings!!

i did some similar mods to my little 1.2 when i had it!!

First update in a rather long time but got the biggest part out of the way !

Coilovers on all went perfect until we ran into a small problem my left spring was snapped will upload some shots from the front when she's cleaned
Next on the list colour code the front and rear bumpers then she's all done.

front shot still needs a good clean though and maybe lower when i get to use a smaller jack as the current one doesn't fit lol.

when you slammed this beast down , what did you have to do to the arch other than roll?

i got me some 8j deepies and my car is low dont get me wrong , i just need more lowz , but front arches are plastic and have a tad bit o poke on all four.
