no, the lens is the most important factor!well no, sensor size is arguably the most important factor.
define a poor sensor though, none of the cameras above have poor sensors, but only the canon take the canon L series lens which is exactly why i went for it, if its good enough for the pro's!whacking a good lens on a shite sensor aint gonna get u ote tho is it.
what camera equipment do you shoot with?spose anything ios only as good as the weakes link...
ahhhhh i seenah mate, im nt talking about SLRs,
was talking to the michael dude as he hasnt got an SLR, just saying thats perhaps the biggest difference. as a lot of p&s do have adjustable settings.
go the extra, nikon D200, been out a while, a year i think but 5frames a second and 10MP......doooo it!!!!!
don't be fooled by "the more pixels the better" cos that's bollox! It's no good having 10.2 million billion pixels if they are all blurred!
Canon/Nikon offer similar performance, what lens you stick on the camera makes the difference. I'd suggest trying a 400D (or whatever the entry level Canon is called this week) and the equivalent Nikon in a shop and seeing which feels the best to use... some people I know have said the Canon body is too small to be comfortable.
I use Nikon stuff
im looking into a slr too but not really wanting to spend 400 quid ive seen the Fuji FinePix S9600 for 250 what do you think to that is it worth the coin? ive gotta stop relying on the phone for pictures lol
yer its only £20k bargain.
