small problem just very anoying

my car will stall/rev sometimes after starting from warm, it sometimes stalls if i drive around slowly for a while and every so often it will stall after coming off the motorway and driving slower, in all of these cases i get the electric warning light come on and if i keep the rev's up the light will go away and the car wil be fine, it happens most of the time after a warm start but occassionly during a trip, it gets very annoying especially when other people are in the car and they think that you are a useless driver and keep stalling.

i am no mechanic but would like to get an idea of what it could be and how easy it is to fix so i can get quotes or fix it myself(if it is really easy).

i drive a 2002 clio 1.2 16v.

is the haynes manual useful and where is the best place to get it.

i had same problem and got told to spray and clean all the relays next to the battery ....... and it did the trick well worth a try

just keep the box clean and free of dirt
