can anyone help.

im trying to upload a large zip file using smartftp onto my web site.

but it keeps timing out, been doing it all day.

first off is that correct 720meg ? do u have that amount free on yer server, doesnt your server support resuming, im guesing not.

Only way round it would be to zip it over multiple files.

errr yeah ive got unlimted space on my sever.

how can i stop it timing out or what ever its doing?

could be yer connection , or theres hard to say really, see if when u connect to ftp it states resume supported,

when u click connect and u see the writing at bottom that says stuff like

welcome to server
user name
pasword

and so on see if a line comes up there saying resume supported

have a read on there web site or find out what software there running on it ,

when it fails can u see the partial file?

Use winrar and when you go to create a rar select split by volume and split it into 50mb chunks or something.

You'll need to split it into smaller chunks as KDF said.

The server will most likely be rejecting it due to it's size.
