Sneak preview of my new euro wheels..

Had them on for a couple of weeks now, very pleased with how they've turned out, thing is my digi cam is getting repaired at the mo so ive taken one off my phone to give you a sneak preview, a full photoshoot to come.

yeah the lower grill below the plate? live op the uni, think have seen you going through headingley towards town, before xmas. black lowered, cant remember what wheels though.

maybe so, i go thro headingley quite a bit.

The lower grill i did myself, remove stupid plastic thing and replaced with black mesh.

its just too black

looks good in the flesh, and i removed the tints cos im fitting a cage so they make it look blacker.

I'll post some pics when i get my camera back, had the wheels custom painted.

not too hard, remove the bumper and pull out the plastic thing.

some tiny screws and hot glue did the trick, ill find a better pic hang on..

can only find a couple, my FCS pics are on disc somewhere that show it better but you get the idea.

ive been converted by my VW mates, looks so much better in the flesh, handles better & sits lower.

cheers lee, you cant get them off the shelf like this, i was inspired by a mates Lupo GTi who had borbets on his, when i bought them i had them painted with black centres before i fitted the tyres.

Wasnt easy to get them on, loads of people told me i had to bore the centres out for bigger spigots. I managed to source some from Germany, taking it from a 64.1 VW fitment to a 60.1 Reno one.

I like euro wheels but i think your Borbets are a bit too old skool for the newer Clios, they'd look good on a Valver.

i disagree completely but thats what makes modifying so good, one persons taste is not to anothers, if we all did the same it'd be boring.
