SNOOPER Vs CLIFFORD

Was wondering if anybody could help or has had the same problem. I have a Snooper 815is Signature series which has been working fine, then i go and get a Clifford Concept 600 alarm fitted with Intellistart Remote starting. Since then the snooper doesnt stop going off all of the time even when parked in the middle of nowhere! Any ideas people???

I have a snoper s5 and i rate it as been pretty good its saved my arse enough times on the motorway and a number of different places, the only problem is it gives off false alarms, but other than that its worth every penny.

have you got it set to the right logic mode, the only false alarms you should get are X band ones and you dont need that band on

Ive got it on logic 3, i rung snooper up and they said that thats the right mode?wat mode do u recommend?

If you are not sure which mode to use then always keep it in mode 1 to ensure comprehensive cover, although this may increase false alarms. Wouldnt you sooner have a thousand false alarms than one ticket.

if you have it on logic 3 then i presume your getting laser alarms, it can detect laser from 2 miles away so maybe thats why ?

personally ill be having mine on Logic 2 when i get it, as the mini gatsos use either Ka/Ku i cant remember

i have a snooper S5 the only false alarma i get are on the K band traffic lights or supermarket doors etc. u cant turn k band off cos so many coppers use it

So can you make it so it doesn;t get set off by sliding doors and traffic lights but still gets radar guns, GATSOs, mobile units, laser etc?

well you cant disable K band, as so many cameras use it. Doors and some traffic signals also use this band so the answer to your question is no.

U cant turn the k band off, that is a big NO.When i bought the snooper the best mode is to logic 3 thats wat the guy said neway who i bought it off

shop doors and traffic lights use X band, you shouldnt be getting any K band stuff off those

re the clifford 600 setting off the snooper, my mate says that the proximity censors use radar and that could set the snooper off

cheers for the advice my proximity sensor is playing up anyway so could be that, but if i wanted to change the logic setting how the hell do i do it, cos it aint in my manual
