Random purple wire off coil pack loom

Hi all
I recently bought a rough 172 cup that's been parked for a few years

I've noticed this random tapped wire it's purple

Does anyone know what it's for or where it should go

The car has a Clifford alarm with intelli start that's not working I'm wondering if it's from that car has no bonnet pin so that's not helping that
