was told 2day in halfords that the signal is shite in clio mk2 ph2 does any1 know if this is true sumthing to do with the windscreen or sumert. and which is the best to buy????

Yeah mate.... think its to do with the heat reflective windscreen.

Ive got an external ariel in my 182 that is hard wired in under the plastic windscreenwiper cover. Works 100%

As said the RA2 will work in the window in the cut out area of the screen but its not the greatest for signal. Mine took ages to start up and dropped out loads in use.

Got the additional attenna on my rear shelf now, works spot on.

The signal seems to real good in my 04 cup.

Cups have normal front screens though dont they? So that will be why.

i got the road angel plus in my 182 put it where the littke square is on the windon and it works fine no problems at all .
