Iive 360 miles from elite they apparently done the work for previous owner.

Just a wee update if anyone is interested.
All parts fluids and extras have been delivered to garage and my engine has left Dan's and should arrive tomorrow, I have to go to garage first thing on Friday to go over everything that has to be done,

On a bad note my 159s clutch started to slip today (f**k cars right in the arsehole) so I'm going to have to put off wheel refurb and machine polish for now.

Update, engine fitted running good garage said I could take it tonight but wanted to keep it over night to double check fluids nothing is leaking etc etc. The engine failure was a dropped value the timing belt is still attached and connected any ideas ????

He just said dropped value it was bad enough to stop engine spinning piston is catching it

Dropped valves happen every once in a while for unknown reasons from what I understand. Glad to hear the car is running!
