Sold ipod, do I have to do anything to it?

As I sold my ipod, do I need to do anything to it or itunes before I post it on or not?

Like disconnect it from my itunes? Restore to factory settings?

Or just leave it and it'll go to the new owners settings when on their itunes?

I have to send it soon and I don't want to find out later that I needed to do something so it's not connected to my computer anymore.

Restore to factory settings would be the best bet... make it clear of anything.

Just plug it into iTunes and restore it. Thats all I did.
