Solid red light but runs fine

Hi guys this is my first post and I'm hoping you can help me. My 2002 Clio runs fine and doesn't have issues as yet except for solid imobiliser light when driving. I checked fuses and electrical connections and all seem good. I've done many hours research but came up empty. Anyone experienced this before?

Tried a reset? Hold the trip computer button on the end of the stalk and turn on the ignition but don't start the engine.

I tried the self diagnostics, leaving doors open with ignition on, checked fuses but haven't swapped relays yet. I haven't tried reprogramning the keys yet. Doesn't holding that button put it into self diagnosis? The history is I purchased car with failed alternator clutch pulley. I disconnected battery, changed alternator and belt and all is good except this light.

Tried that, swapped relays, connected battery with lights on, checked fuses, trying to be code remotes but no joy yet
