I fitted a set of PMS ones last week. I didn't bother with the strut brace but I may do at a later date.
The idea of coming at my car with a drill kept putting me off but I'm glad I did it now. Turn in response is brilliant and they've added no extra noise.
They will give you a much more positive turn in both on road and track. Obviously it helps if everything else is tight to but the difference with vs without is night and day... one of the best mods I did.
I bought a new set of springs, shocks and top mounts and fitted them all in an afternoon.
My 182 didn't have the shocks cup pack because whoever bought it first was a cheap b*****d.
Anyway I have the standard 182 shocks and not the cupped ones. Car rides fine around on the road and is incredibly responsive. I love driving it.
New set up consisted of:
4x new OE shocks
Eibach Sportlines
PM mounts
After a bit of enthusiastic driving with the standard shocks I find it a bit oversprung and under damped. In hindsight maybe I should have gone for the Proline springs but I'm thoroughly enjoying the effects of the top mounts and really recommend them!
