some t**t hit my wing mirror!

sum idiot hit my mirror as i was parked in a country lane !its just broken the mirror inside i think the actual plastic unit is fine?
any ideas,can i remove a mirror from a scrap clio and fit it!?:S

I had my mirror glass broken once, it does just pop out. Only cost me about £15 for new one from Renault dealer.

halfords sell replacement glass that just fits over the smashed glass

Dont forget there will be a little cable to unplug if you have heated mirrors.

That happened to me during the first week of owning my 172! Some fat woman in a sliver 02 plate astra, my write of way but she jus kept coming and BOSH, smacked my wing mirror an the glass cracked. Tried to spin the car round to go get her but she was gone!

Anywho, glass just pulls out its on plastic clips. Was £20 for a new glass from renault and mine was heated.
