right i have an alpine cd player HU, a dvd, a freeview box and a tft screen....

so i wire the dvd and freeview sound into the alpine unit, the screen on the av in from both dvd and freeview but where do i source my power from?? the location wont be far away from the battery so could i run it straight from the battery and drop in a fuse?? or should i hard wire it in behind the dash? what wiring/fuses will i need to put in? ill need power to the freeview, dvd and tft

oh and do i need to split the av and the sound im guessin!

got a feelin its gonna be a nightmare

right....

so let me get this right, u wanna watch freeview on ur tft screen and have the sound coming thru ur alpine headunit.... also u want ur dvd player to go thru ur tft screen.

how many av inputs has ur screen got ? depending what alpine headunit you have got, u will more than likely need a KCA 121B adaptor lead, which basically changes ur changer output from ur alpine headunit into an auxilary in as most alpine headunits do not have a dedicated aux in.

you dont necessarily have to split the sound, you can just take the sound from the tft screen as whatever is being played through the screen will send the sound to ur headunit. from the Sound output from ur screen, assuming it has that! does it ?

as for power, best to take it straight to the battery via a 5amp fuse... but otherwise you can just take the power from the ignition live & the positive that is in the loom to the headunit, thats how i hardwired my origin b2
