  V70 d5 beast
look what some c**t has done to my car now i'm guessing it was done yesterday across the road from my work place at renault but didn't notice it till this morning when i washed my car,

i think it's a new bonnet? or carbon fibre one lol

well i think its gotta be from a caor 4x4 as it's a massive dent plus there scratches all over it? where the dent is?

why not repair it?

you get a new bonnet your painting the bonnet and wings.you repair it your just painting the bonnet

  Punto/Clio GTT
yea, if ya cant get to it from the back with a screwdriver or something then probably use the pin puller. repairin it will be alot cheaper than buyin a new bonnet mate

A football hit my bonnet very slighly higher than that. Brought to an approved Renault repairer and they said the bonnet metal was that thin they could not repair it - it would be a new bonnet for about £800 notes.

I plunged it outyself but you can see a line aroudn the edge.

I saw a piece in Autocar IIRC about a Clio with a dent quite a bit bigger than this. They were discussing paintless dent removal (PDR) and they managed to remove damage that was probably twice the size and they said the repair was flawless.
It would probably be worth searching yell.com for PDR technicians in your area or try dentsolutions.co.uk if you are in the Yorkshire area.

Mine had a dent in the exact same place...

2 lads jumped across my bonnet and left a knee-dent just above the reno crest and a few dings in the bonnet

It was a "new bonnet job" as the metal is too weak at the "crumple point"

Cost around £500 fitted/painted - didn't need the wings done

only just seen this post, if you have replaced your bonnet, you got taken for a ride.

Had a similar dent after *cough* running a mate over.......... long story, and dent master in kent sorted it, it wasnt 100% flawless, i could see the flaws, but no-one else could. Cost me £100+ vat, this included having a door ding taken out.

quite an old thread to dig out - it was 10 months ago! lol

lol was looking into pdr to have a crack at myself, and saw it, having had the unfortunate experiance of having to have a bonnet repaired thought i would chip in.

better late than never lol

People pay over the top for bonnets like; a brand new replica bonnet primed is 120 + vat.

500 quid for a new bonnet fitted and painted. I nearly died off that one.
