Someone put a ding in my car

Ive had my car a year and a half now with no problems... 5 mins later in a Macky Ds carpark and someone has put a ding in my rear panel behind the drivers door.... I think I know who it was as well as they were looking at me funny as I got in my car.... This was actually on the way upto Donny Yesterday... Which was a Top meet... Thanks Claire...

The ding in quite small and not creased at all... almost like it was caused by a soft rounded object.... are Chips Away ok for this sort of stuff? unless somebody knows a better place near Farnborough / Camberley in Hampshire. I take it they have to take the interior trim out of the car to get to the back of the dent?? are they ok at putting the trim back straight, and with all the screws?

dont worry mate leave it 2 a pro, tell them u want a top job and let them get on with it and sort out whats what

as for the interior it cant go back in bent now can it?

Unlucky mate. I now only go to supermarkets where I know I can park without any other cars next to me. I park miles out of the way of anyone at work if it means Ive got no cars either side of me, even if its pi$$ing it down. Ive had too many dents over the years and am a bit paranoid, but parking dings really do get on my t!ts, especially when you are washing your car on a nice sunny day.

If you have to park next to other cars the only advice I can give is never park next to a car with a baby seat in the back. Theres usually some fat arsed woman trying to get a kiddie out oblivious to where the door is.

Im well carefull when i park the car, i already have 1 small ding in the drivers door that i want to get removed...

the worse thing is that every time i park miles away from any1 else theres always some1 that decides to park next to me, and 9/10 times its a old foogy in a 4x4! Grrrrrrr

Ok Ill give dent devils a call too... Im the same when it comes to parking... I park miles away.... If I can have a clear space either side of me I will.... also I always look for parking spaces on the end of a line... I like to think thats one less side that can get banged..

Whats annoying is that were all so carefull about this sort of thing, and careful of other ppls cars... then u just get that one person who doesnt give a damn.... argggh !!! ... Well hopefully I can get it fixed.

Ok Im happy again now Ive just dropped my car off at a local garage and the guys going to remove my ding. I didnt want to go to a large national company as you can never be sure what sort of service youre going to get. You might end up with the dent being worse than it started. So I phoned a few of my local garages and they all gave me the number of the same guy. He does work for my local bmw and Ferrari dealerships so he must be good.

I dropped the car off at his garage tonight hes going to do it in the morning for me ... and all for £30 ... now you cant ask better than that. Ive cheared up a bit now.

Some asswipe just put a big straigt line down the rear side of my car just before the rear wheel arch !!

I had parked and went away, didnt notice it until later.. grr.. why cant people reverse out a parking place properly ! you go straight THEN turn the wheel.. fcuking retards.. now its gonna cost me a shed load which I cant afford just now as I booked a holiday for 7 people to florida !
