Someone to optimise my car - Scotland

I need a company to be able to plug their pc/tuning machine into my mark 1 clio (with an ecu) and tune/optimise my car.

After failing my MOT on emissions it occured to me that i had changed the engine and it may not be running correctly.

Anyone got any companies they have used in scotland what deals with this?

I dont want a tuner company as i dont want extra bhp or performance gains, i just want my car to be checked over and set up correctly.
