Finally decided to change my 1.2 for a renault sport and have been looking around for the right one
to come up at the right price. Anyway think someone told my car. Filled up with a full tank of fuel this morning and went to work.
After finishin work i tried to start the car (no probs) tried to pull away and the car was having none of it.
it wouldn't let me move until it was above 3000 revs, every gear i changed into was the same so i decided to pull over and restart the car.
same problem and then the exhaust gas monitor warning light started flashing. drove it for about 5 minutes and it stopped flashing and was constantly there. i stopped again to have a look through the manual and see what the problem was. unsuprinsingly the advice was to go to a renault dealer which is the last place i could go to at 8 oclock at night. anyway on restarting the car there were no probs. drove it home for 20 mins with no problems. is my car trying to tell me its jealous or is there a more serious reason to this problem. Any ideas would be appreciated. (My mate reckons it was dirty fuel at the bottom of the tank could this be possible?)
