Something Missing?

Ever since my 172 had a new clutch, ive noticed its alot more 'bellowy', it basically sounds like its got a open cone filter on it or something!

So, today i thought id have a look, and noticed there was something missing?

I took the air box out, and i presume theres a pipe missing underneath it, and i also noticed that the pipe that travels along the underside of the airbox goes to nothing, and there was a random lone bit of pipe behione the n/s wheel arch?

So basically whats missing - one or two bits of pipe?

from memory there are two sections of the duckting buts its been 2 years since it was removed from my car so could be wrong.

First pic is of the acoustic valve iirc if you take the passenger side front light off you can see things a little clearer

So looking at it, theres one pipe from the airbox to the acoustic valve?

The pic of your airbox, where that hole is, there should be a Cold Air Feed. Would explain why you've got more of an induction roar.
