Sony's Sonic Stage Problem - Help!

Ive got a Sony NW-A806 mp3 player.

Ive been trying to upload my tunes on to it by using Windows Media but it's having none of it. But now ive found out that you can only upload music on to it by using the software it came with...which is Sony's 'Sonic Stage'

Now, ive managed to upload my songs on to my mp3 (by using Sonic Stage) but they're not in any order because, when I import my music albums into Sonic Stage from My Music folder, it thinks that each track in one album is it's own album.

E.g. One album with ten tracks in it is being read as ten albums.

Does anyone know how to import albums into Sonic Stage successfully??

Thanks for reading, and any help is appreciated!

ahh sonny crap soft ware, i had anolder version of your player, purple hdd thing, any way believ it or not sound stage is 1 bajillion itmes better than the connect player software it came with, but thankfully it was compatable with sonic stage.

whati had to do is import all my tracks into the sound stage library then on sound stage sort it into albums, playlists etc if the werent already inplace (some times they imported ok sometimes they did not). its something to do with walkman mp3 players usin .oem ( or something like that) format which only sony players can play and only sony software can read according to the support forums. that what it takes ages to transfer music as in my case you could not just add a song here or ther you had to effectivly add every song back on!! also check for firmware updated on the sony support website they help glitches like this, all ways check for new firmware evn if its a new device god knows holong its been kicking about a ware house. also check if ther is a new version of sound stage or even a new sony platform. sonic being the new generation of connect.

what really bugs me is why the sony walkman mp3 player is soo awkward and fussy and the software crap, and the worst music player i have ever owned.
but the sony walkman mobile phones are soo easy to use reliable, play just about any thing (well anything above the w810 does) and you done even need software to work it its just a mass storage device so works with media player etc. and the best music ive ever had.
you'd think that they would both be the same being sony walkmans but ooohh no.

unfortunately I think your going to need to mucka bout with sonic stage....have fun.
