Sophos open day

Car  cock mobile.
On the 19th January.

Has anyone else been invited?

Not sure if I can be bothered going; but might do if I can find someone who's going that isn't a complete geek.

(I'm not honest).

It came from a Faye Stephens and Emma Pritchard at Sophos (not that I know them).

You ever been to one? Was it interesting? Good lunch? ;)

Nope - never been. When I've spoke to various people at Sophos though, all seem decent enough.

If you get a decent amount of scran from there, it can't be bad! ;)

i smell a junket on the horizon... ill get the boss to email them even though were on McAfee ;P

We used Sophos for years, then swapped to McAfee Managed Anti Virus.

All was well until I upgraded to XP 64 and it doesn't run anymore! Oh well, I'm sure they'll sort it.

I got an invite for an APC event today.:sleepy:

LOL :)

"Look, your power goes off and this is a big battery in a box. Ideally it will give your kit enough juice until the power comes back. Any questions? Nope? Right - off to the bar we go..."

I got an invite to a Veritas one a few weeks ago, I clicked to accept expeting them to ask for details, but instead it registered me instantly as I auto login to there website. lol

Dammit, I didn't get invited to a Veritas one either.

Clearly not spending enough of that budget with them!! lol.

When we got the XP 64 bit disks through at work from microsoft, tried to install sophos in it and that too didnt like it, so that ruled out using 64bit. :dapprove: This was quite a while back so they might have fixed it by now.
