FTO GPX 2.0 V6
Hi,
I have sanded down, primered, wet sand with P800 and today done about 3/4 coats of Renault Black Pearl (off the shelf from Halfords). My problem is that the side strips now look too pearly if that makes sense, seem to have loads more silver flecks in than my paint, I only had the rear bumper resprayed a few weeks back so its not like my car has faded loads.
My question is shall I wet sand the strip with P1000 and hope that by doing so it may flat the paint out a bit and make it less shiney
(sounds stupid!!). I know I have to laquer anyway so it may not make any difference. If it won't I may have to make a trip to Halfords and get them to mix something and respray.
