SOUTH EAST De-Denting Meet 16th August

Sorry Sarah but im gonna have to bail on this one now. Money is gettin tight and i've still got a few things arranged for this month!

plus my car is on axle stands at the moment
 
Lol, can't really till get me Recaros in and put the rear seats back in! Oh and maybe a rollcage with harnesses by the next meet though!

sash where is the grasshoper from tp (builders merchants)? I know westeram ok, live about 15 mins away, but I can't remember where the bloody grasshopper is.

I know of it tho.

also I have 3 dents on 3 dif panels (little pin like dents from people opening their doors) - do you think he could do them all?

with all the cars above attending, will he have time for mine too?

sorry if it seems silly, just thinking of the amount of time it'll take to remove all the panels on each persons car etc, may well be there some time or maybe even too long for us all!

no idea how long these dent removal professionals take. :)
 
I am massively interested! only just seen this bloody link though! where is it all kicking off? I have no idea where westerham is!?....
 
Which Grasshopper? The one on the green or the one with the huge car park next to the natinol speed limit road? Can I add my name to the list for de-denting or is it too late?

The one with the huge carpark, on the A25 just outside Westerham.

just turn up as soon as you can...i would assume it's first come first serve. has been in the past for the de dent meets.

if this guy is anything like the last one then he'll be rinsin' through the cars...doesn't take them long. no need to bring any tools either, the guy will have everything he needs..
 
Yeah turn up on 1st come 1st served basis im afraid, matt is good, takes his time to get it right.
Lee, No need to remove body panels! maybe inside bits of trim if the dent is in the rear quarter panel or boot for example.

As Ryan said its the Big Grasshopper with the BIG carpark lol 10AM!!!

Im am sooo glad Dunc and I eventually managed to make this meet. Was nice to see a couple of new faces and was good to finally meet Brian. :)

Thanks Sarah for arranging this, and a huuuuge THANK YOU to your friend who did a spanking job on my bonnet! I loved watching him remove all the dents, he definitely takes pride in his work that's for sure. Spot on job and a top bloke. :D

I took a few pics. I'll put them up once I have sorted through them. ;)

Welcome Debz, I said he was good didn't I?!

Rather dissapointed in those who put their names on the list and didnt bother to show for the dent removal but thanks to those who let me know they werent going to make it, for those that didnt phone or text :mad: was not very happy, felt like i dragged matt out for nothing.
 
both gutted and sorry I couldn't make it

my aux belt is now making slight squeaking noise so the car is not moving at all until wednesday when I take it to rentec at 50 all the way to get the belts done!!

really paranoid my baby may go bang lol
 
Well yes and no, not being funny or nasty but very few turned up even those not on the dent list!
Having got matt to come from bromley way for what i said would be about 10 cars and it turned out to be 3! bit of a let down i felt.

But for those that did come it was real nice to see you all :)
 
Hi, was good to see you all this morning.

It was a pi55 poor turn out for the people that just didn't show up. Wasters.

On the plus side, I think Matt enjoyed his little trip out to experience the full use of my harnesses. lol

To begin with i wasnt too sure if he enjoyed it or not although the smile on his face swayed me to believe so, but the lack of proper words coming from his mouth was worrying pmsl!

Sure he'll be on here soon enough to post his thoughts! lol

So Matt when you read this Thank you for coming along and de-denting a couple of people's cars, and im pretty certain these people of CS will be greatful for your dedication and experience in the future!!
