Rich arrived with a broken door lock on his drivers door - super Steve came to the rescue but unfotunately his super powers let him down on this occasion

we went for a spin round Cardiff Bay then and went to Ikea eventually to have some more pics

Then finally another spin around Cardiff Bay and stopped at Burger King for some food

was a really good afternoon - hopefully dry next time and gonna think of a good route to go on - test Dink's driving skills properly! any way thanks to everyone for coming - shall be another soon

How do you get your engine so shiny? wot do u need and how much will cost?

best bet is find a good metal polisher - can do it yourself but takes bloody ages - a lot of the parts have been bought already polished like battery cover and strut top caps but have done a lot of polishing myslef as well. You have to work through loads of grades of sand paper until really smooth and tiny scratches then loads of metal polish - has taken me ages to get it like that - all I need now is a strut brace and itll be pretty much complete (until i think of something else)

I am pretty maticulous though - I even hoover the carpet under bonnet occasionally - its coming up to 3 years old now and still looks good as new (what is visible does anyway)

Yeah Im the rep - have been for about 2 or 3 months now - youll have to come along to the next meet

i like 2 keep mine clean, but not that clean. lol. yeh i'll hav 2. aint long bought a flame red 172, just got it lowered, cup splitter and removed that crappy accoustic valve! lol

didnt take me long, it only took 10 mins, easiest way 2 do it 2 remove ur headlight and u can get at it easy then. car sounds much better without on!

yeah should be good dink - want to get my new inlets fitted first though but doubt ill have a chance (or the money) but would be good to see what bhp it has before and after fitting new inlet and remap
