South West Hardcore - Venturing Out of Bristol !

Big Jts phoned me yesterday to see if i was up for an early morning spirited drive.

Of course i said yes, i mentioned it to a few others last night at the curry meet but no takers as it was an early one.

Schweppy was up for it , but i had a txt @ 5.30am saying he felt like s**t so he was not going to make it.

So myself and Big Jts met at the cross hands pub in old sodbury.

From there we went on to the M4 and headed for Avebury.

Then Avebury to the nearest petrol station for the thirsty 197.

From there we had a blast towards chippenham.

And then on our way back we had a choice of going on the A420 down to old sodbury again, or going back via Castle Combe.

So thats what we did, They were open but only maintenance staff were there, due to a 2 seater race car smashing up the Armco yesterday.

Checked we could take some pictures under the Avon Rise bridge and away we went.

Its is quite a nice one (I went to look/road test it with him)

Looks like a good morning, used to do crazy things like that when I had my Cup. Fair play to CC for letting you get some pics as well, most circuits wouldn't be that accomodating.

You can drive into the circuit at most times - gate is open so people can get to Merlin.
