Spacers

Gaz

Car  Flaming Inferno 225
I've not long since had some 205 tyres fitted to my car instead of the 195 it came with as standard and in cornering hard the rears seems to rub inside the wheel arches, what spacers do u recommend or is there somet else i could do?

Cheers gaz :)

ddepends on what wheels you got, you don't want the wheels to rub the wheel arches, depends on what car u got, u could put spacers on and then have the wheel arches rolled

Its a PH2 172 with standard wheels but ive bought 205 tyres this time round instead of 195 cos everyone recommends them but the rears rub on something during fast cornering.

About the time Renault went from fitting 195s to 205s they also went to wheels with 3.5mm more offset outwards. That's a good indication what you need: 3-5 mm.

^^ more offset inwards, ie, not as wide. Spacers will push the wheels further towards the arch, and make it rub more.

so which are the best spacers i could get and were from, 5mm should be ample surely :)
