Over what size do you need to start using longer bolts? I'm looking at spacing the 172 out a tad just to get rid of the small tuck and I was wondering how far I could go before having to look at buying longer bolts as well

5mm is about the max for standard wheel bolts anything larger and u need longer bolts

personally id always use hubcentrics, which kinda limits you to 15mm or bigger, in which case it would definatley be longer bolts!!

i tried 9mm spacers, and the bolt did not go through far enough to call safe!!

I've just bought some 5mm spacers and I'm going to see what they are saying
