Spark plug socket???? too big??

hi there..trying to replacde the plugs on the 1.2 16v

but the spark plug sockets i have are not thin in diameter enough to fit into the recsess where the HT leads are...anyone know what the size of the socket needed is?

You need a special tool, GSF car parts do one for about £12, or a very slim 14mm long socket is needed. Thing with the proper tool is it has a rubber insert to help pull the plug out of the shaft.

just use a deep 14mm socket, and pull out with the lead
