spax coilovers

Has anyone got these for there 1.2 16v? Just saw them for less than £500. Sounds very reasonable. Just wondered if they are any good as they seem to be cheaper than the FK ones.

Spax seem to be thought bad of by some people, but personally i think there perfectly fine and worth the cash

i got a spax kit on my 1.4 and its nice. handles well and the ride qual isnt too poor...well it is, but better than people who just get lowered springs and keep their old dampers!!!

Ive got a set of Spax RSX Coilovers; think these are the top of the line ones. I was lucky, I rang up Spax asking about them and they said they didn’t do them for my car but they wanted to, so if I lend them my car they will build them, fit them and set them up for free!

Took it all the way to oxford branch and left it there with a geezer called Chris, he was the man; except he said my car sounded fast but didn’t go very fast grrrrrrr

As they set it up properly for track use it handles very, very well its unbelievable, the ride is a little bumpy but you will get used to that, its lowered 70mm at front and 60mm, the dampening is set high so even with 17s and a full car with no arch mods it doesnt rub at all.

I definitely recommend them, no doubt at all these will go on my next car.
