Speaker help

Well basically, at the mo im running a standard cd headunit with standard speakers in my dynamique. I have a set of focal 130a components ( http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/2766.html)to go in, and i was just wondering without an aftermarket HU and not amped...will i notice the difference to standard speakers at all?
I cant be bothered spending money on aload of ICE at the mo lol

you wont notice a massive difference in quality as you would with a new hu and standard speakers

yeh but the difference like i say would be way better with a new hu,nothing expensive,something around the 80 quid mark for a hu off of cad or cas would be fine

I fitted a new HU and the quality of the standard paper speakers is shite! Now gone for upgrading the speakers too, so fingers crossed!

I just like the tidy look of a standard HU and to get steering controls working need to spend an extra £30 odd. I'll end up getting a new headunit eventually probably, just wondered the diff with just changing the speakers (e.g how the bass would cope on them)

it would cope better with the bass but if the hu itself cannot give out the quality then itll be no better

Exactly, the source of the quality will be no greater so the speakers are only as good as the HU allows them to be

cheers guys. Just been looking at headunits now. Quick question, ive been looking at these steering control leads http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/6913.html and they say 02-05, mines 51plate but im fairly sure thats no difference on the stereos to the 02 plates...so these controls would work with the correct headunit right? cheers

i wouldnt use the autoleads ones mate,unreliable,get on www.caraudiodirect.com and buy there stalk control leads,much better quality
