What is the biggest that will fit behind the grill on the MK2 172?

I have the chance of 6 inch Infinitys with JBL tweeters.

Fronts or backs? Both are 13cm originally but it is possible to fit 6 inch speakers. The backs are easier though!

I have got a set of 6 inch kappas and a set 4inch kappas! what do you think are best of the clio? Only want to replace the fronts as there is a nice box going in the boot!

The 6" Kappas will sound much better than the 4" ones. MAke up a MDF Spacer and you should be able to fit them. Depending on the magnet size you may have to cut a little metal.

5.25 inch speakers will fit no probs to the original gaps/screw holes!

You shouldnt have too much difficulty getting the 6inch ones to fit theyre not that much bigger!

The only problem is the plastic cover behind the speaker and possibly the metal, but that depends on the basket size of the speaker, obviously bigger the magnet the more hassle
