speaker wiring

i went to install some new front speakers yesterday, made a mess of it the first time and then came to the conclusion that the wiring in the car is a disgrace (2001 clio 1.2 16v). how much bother is it going to be to change the speaker wiring, any advice how to do it???
any help appreciated...

The wiring for the speakers is actually pretty tidy in comparison to my brothers dirty Yank Ford KA, that was like they had pored a can of spaghetti wiring down the door.
