Hi guys
Right, living at home, me and the old man have had enough of out poverty spec broadband and mahoosive bills for naff all.
But we both live in the dark ages and he hasn't reviewed his contract since.... well.... ever...
Current spec is
10 gig download p/m
£14 line rental
£15 internet
£15 ish in calls pm
So lets call it £45 pm all in.
Now this is where my noobness comes in. The line is owned by BT, so could I have sky broadband and calls etc and have it work out cheaper than BT and is it possible to do even though BT own the line? Our router is a million days old and the internet is slow. No idea how to prove how slow but not amazing.
I really have no idea when it comes to this sort of thing so any help is greatly received. Also we don't get virgin down our way
