Special edition clio

Hi guys,

I got a call from a renault dealer about upgrading my clio to a brand new one. I said I wasnt really interested in getting another one but he mentioned something about a special edition clio 1.4 dynamique going to be released in September/october with lexus lights, sport spoiler etc etc, anyone know anything about this??....any info greatly appreciated as I cannot find anything on the net about this!

Hes probably refering to the current Clio Extreme 3. There is a kit available that includes alloy wheels, sports exhaust and the crystal rear lenses.

Yes. I have heard about this.

Apparently, its a limited edition based on the 1.4 Dynamique with a sports exhaust, sports spoiler, Renaults own "Clear" rear lights.

I read about it somewhere, but cant at the moment recall where, although it looked a bit of a bargain if you were thinking of getting a 1.4 Dynamique

The Extreme 3 only comes with the 1.2 16V and dCi 65, not the 1.4 from the Dynamique

thanks guys, I think the guy on the phone did say it was based on a 1.4 dynamique for a september release. I really dont want to get another clio but he said based on my car actual worth now, I could possibly get this model without paying nothing extra after trade in....does sound kinda tempting especially now that i am bored of 1.2 speed! lol

A 1.4 isnt a huge jump a 172 /182 would be a more noticable one and more worthwhile.

There will be more special edition Clios comming out all the time with the Lio finishing production next yr or so.

yeah I totally realise that but who can afford a 182 at the moment?....I would love to get one but financially such a big jump up from 1.2 plus insurance will sky rocket!

You might be suprised if you pay a fair bit already then the jump might not be as big as you think.

Older 172/ Cups are getting very cheap with the 182 and soon 182 Cup for sale.

I wouldnt bother, just stick to mods that you want, not some "gimmick" from Renault.
