Speed Humps

does anyone else whos had their mk1 clio lowered have problems with their exhaust scrapping on speed humps when they go over them?

i wanted to lower mine even more from 45mil to about 60mil but im worried about ripping my exhaust off?

what do find is the best way of getting over speed humps, in my old car i used to put one wheel on the hump and one off but in the clio that scrapes, putting one wheel wither side of the hump and it still scrapes!!!

how low is urs craig?

YEAH I DO TOO I HAVE TO DRIVE OVER SPEED BUMPS ON AN ANGLE SO IT DOSE NOT SCRAP PEOPLE LOOK AS IF IM STUPID LOL !!

depends on the type of hump.........

When there are two little ones (one in each lane) i tend to put one wheel on each hump

When its one big mofo i just go as slow as possible and hope it doesnt scrape

IVE GIVE UP COUNTING. THE FLOOR OF THE CAR IS ABOUT 4 INCH OFF THE GROUD QUIT LOW I WILL HAVE TO GET SOME PICS POSTED

dunno TBH came like it !! Was told 35mm front and 55 mm back but its lower than that when compared to bubbles of that same height !! And mines a 16v remember so lower as standard !!

ive got 15s on, didnt want any bigger, im sure you can go lower but mines scraping on speedhumps already and i have to go over 17 just to get to work, then youve got 17 on the way home then if i goto a mates ive got 10 going there and the same back - starts to be a pain after a whiie!

IM ON 15" WITH 195/45 I HAD TO LOOSE 1 AND A HALF INCHS FROM THE FRONT WINGS SO THE I COULD GET FULL LOCK TURNING IT WONT GO ANY LOWER ON THE FRONT AS THE DRIVE SHAFTS ARE NOT FAR OFF HITTING THE CHASSE LEG
