speedo cable

can neone tell me where bouts the speedo cable plugs into the gearbox on a renault clio 1.2 16v 03 plate

my mileage is flyin up and i jus wanna unplug it for a couple of weeks or so

Sure is! Mind you a person I knew had a 306 and met a bloke at a service station who plugged in a box and said "How many miles do you want mate?". Note the KNEW part in my post!
