Speedo Dial Surround

Think its the 172/82 Clios and the Initiale Paris where the dials are surrounded in a silver/chrome plastic circle. Do these come out/detatch from the suround so they can be put on another speado or be painted?

Reason i ask is cause ive got plain boring dull black, and im trying to buy some silver/chrome stuff for inside of the car (Tasteful of course) and would want to know if i can remove these parts and spray them.

yeah top dash has to come off and plasic cover off the top of the steering column

Hard job or a 10 minute job?

not too hard say an hour and a bit need a T20 and T30 torx 3 screws near the windscreen 2 eitherside of the dash 3 under the long cover 1 under the short cover then its off helps to pull the a-pillar covers off too clocks held in by 2 T20 torx, the bit in the picture comes apart easy once you have the clocks out

Does anyone know if this bit can be fitted to the dial fascia of a mk2 phase 1 clio (i.e. 1998-2001) ?
