speedo not working

hi i have a clio 172 (2000) the speedo stopped workin not long after i brought it and i have changed the speedo sensor and reset everything and its still not working. could sum1 plz help me !! what else could i do?

Most likely cause is a wiring fault or a faulty clockset... Are there any warning lights on and do you know if the vehicle is reporting a wheel speed for each wheel? Ideally the vehicle needs to be seen by someone that knows what they're on with and has access to decent diagnostic kit to make an accurate diagnosis i'm afraid.

when i do the reset on the clocks it all works fine. i have noticed that there are 3 wires that have come out off the plug. could this be the problem? and any ideas of were the wires go? there are no warning lights coming on or anything.
