Speedo Out?!

Speedo is 10mph out... when the car idles/off it sits below 0 (where -10 would be LOL!)

I have to make sure I'm doing no more than 20mph in a 30mph zone!! Sometimes i have to question myself when going through a speed camera...

Help?!!

Seems to me like either the clocks are knackered or the sensor is maybe slipping if you've got the speedo drive gearbox .

What's it compare to GPS speed ?

it is literally like 10-12mph out on GPS mate...

Is that 10mph out across the whole speedo range?

Are they replacement clocks? Have you just bought the car? Have you added 'white dials' for extra chavness?

Sounds like the needle has been put back on wrong.

Do the stalk button hold test to see whether they're sitting on each place properly. Then reset with the little button on the dash.

Ive done this... when i press the button on dash, it doesn't seem to do anything... am i missing a trick? cheers,
