I make it 9 seconds to 60, it seems that gear change just before 60 cost you time....

i think it shud b alot quicker, its chipped, induction kit, and decated stainless exhaust exhaust

def 9 secs, I hit the stop watch as soon as it moves and stop it at 63mph (true 60mph) checked it 3
times now, still 9 secs...

you should know that the 0-60 time given in books are used with timming gear to hit 60 spot on, but ALL speedo's over read, 63mph is closer to real 60mph.......

riiiiiiiiiiiiiite, wel either theres something seriosly wrong, or im just doing something wrong, changed to earlier, the chip in the ecu has lifted the limiter to just over 7000rpm.. i'll give it another blast when i finish work, might swap the ECU over aswel see if its any slower.

Yeah that 3rd gear change is what is slowing your 0-60 time down, if you could only get there in 2nd you'd be laughing, try 0-100 (104-5mph on speedo) and see what you get

valvers already rev to 7000/7100rpm don't they? mine does anyway.

no mate they rev to 8000rpm, that whats on the clock anyway and mine reved to that b4 the chip was installed.

no thats not what i mean. the clocks go up to 8000rpm, but they hit the limiter at 7000rpm as standard.

Yeah but if you compare them with "The BOOK" time then you think your car is faster when is not, so its misleading, yes?

If you run it to 3mph at 60 and 5mph at 100 you will be more accurate at least....

On a speedo vid, like the way people on here do them, I could get my v6 to maybe under 5 seconds, which is NOT true, so I'm only KIDDING myself, yes?

will try sometime soon and see..... will be intresting to see if I'm correct or talking b****cks....lol

Deffo get a Vee speedo vid up mate, will be good to see. I know where your coming from with the speed vid thingy, its the roughest of rough estimates, espec with a stopwatch. So your prob best to add on a second odd:rasp:

Valvers limit at 7000Rpm from standard, Williams 6500Rpm.

Yeah for some reason doesn't look as quick as it should! should be hitting 65ish on the speedo in second gear!
