Splitting apart a side repeater

Hi all

Can anyone just tell me the easiest way to open up the side repeater so i can paint it

I would think taht they are pretty much welded together and the only way aprt is destructive! If you are just looking to tint the lens then I have seen people just pour the paint in to the unit , swirl it around , than drain it back out again!

I think these are sealed units and youll have difficulty opening one up. If you take it out you may be able to get a brush in the hole at the back where the bulb goes in.

Thanks for the post, but i actually asked the wrong question, i meant how do u take the bulb out of the repeater....done it now anyway...twist is the word.

Painted up nice and black with tinting spray....nice and stealth
