Splutter between 4 and 5k then ok

Had the 182 out earlier and when accelerating it was spluttering a bit between 4 and 5 k rpm. It seemed to push through this then the power came back fully up to recline. Any ideas?

STD engine with decat/exhaust, remap and bmc cda. Seemed fine the other night.

cud be misfiring, how are the condition of your spark plugs?

Any lights or anything on mate? i'll plug it in if anything comes up. Could be any of the usuals, ht leads, coilpacks, plugs, or lambda lol. I have spares of most luckily :approve:

aye lol bound to be one of those. coil pack might be a suspect.

the light has always been on tbh. might be worth seeing why. I assumed the decat threw it on.

had the car out yesterday for a good run and it was good as gold. wierd. guess Ill have to wait for it to get worse to diagnose.

done it again on sat there. had to pull off the motorway and while at the giveway gave it a rev to the limiter. then it was 100% the rest of the morning.

sounds like a plan, only seems to do it when cold (sometimes)
