Spoiler Removal

Ok had a look can't find anything. Just got myself a cup spoiler how do i remove the old one? Had a look, is it a case of undoing the 6 screws and pulling the spoiler away from the car or is it also clipped on? Also what size torx bit do i need anyone know?

Yea, undo the 6 screws.

T8 I believe, will then need a big pull as it part clips in

Just be careful when pulling the spoiler away, as said there are blue clips which may break.

It doesn't matter if they do break as they're only for locating. You'll need to close boot too when removing spoiler

Ok cheers guys, and what about the wires and the tube for the screen wash, will they allow me to pull the spoiler away from the car enough so i can get my fingers in to disconnect them?

stick a microfibre or similar between the spoiler and the roof so you dont scratch it. and yep, you can pull it away and undo the connections
